Kate Barr

Kate Barr is the President and CEO of Propel Nonprofits, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit whose mission is to fuel the impact and effectiveness of nonprofits with guidance, expertise, and capital. Kate leads Propel’s team in developing and implementing innovative financing and programming. She frequently presents workshops and presentations on nonprofit strategy, finance, and governance and is a sector-level leader with articles, blogs, and policy papers. Before joining the organization in 2000, Kate was senior vice president of Riverside Bank in Minneapolis, with a broad portfolio of strategic and business responsibilities. She began her professional life as business manager of a performing arts nonprofit.

Rebecca Coker, MPA
Managing Director, BDO
Rebecca leads BDO’s Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory cohort-based capacity building work. She partners with a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and government agencies, employing strategic coaching and workshop sessions to enhance operational efficiency and drive lasting change. Her expertise spans business planning, infrastructure assessments, and fostering inclusive financial decision-making processes. With a background encompassing both the private and nonprofit sectors, including a decade in the for-profit arena, she holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and excels in data-driven process improvement. Rebecca's leadership extends to multi-component initiatives, collaborating with local government agencies, foundations, and multiple funder collaboratives, making her a dynamic force in driving impactful change within organizations.

Ethan Zatko
Director, BDO
Ethan is a seasoned leader in the social sector, with a background in directing programs and organizations that serve youth and families in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. At BDO, he leverages his extensive experience as a trainer and facilitator to collaborate with nonprofit, philanthropic, and public agencies, rooted in an unwavering commitment to inclusive approaches. Ethan's impressive track record includes being selected as the US Delegate to the global "Man Up" Campaign to end violence against women and girls, where he attended the kickoff world summit event in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2010. He is also a LeaderSpring Innovation Lab Fellow, recognized in The Monthly Magazine as a local mover and shaker, and has participated in high-profile events like the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Environmental Justice Listening Session. Ethan serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Californians for Justice, a California state-wide youth-powered nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing racial equity. He proudly calls Oakland, CA, his hometown.

Jesús M. Pizarro Rodríguez
CFO, Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs,
Jesús M. Pizarro Rodríguez is the CFO at Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, a community development financial institution, overseeing financial operations and compliance. Pizarro also holds the position of Treasury for Sunrise Movement Education Fund, an environmental organization. A Certified Public Accountant, he holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and three master's degrees from City University of New York-Baruch College, Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, and an MSc in Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia. He completed executive education in Inclusive Finance at Harvard Business School and the CFO Program at Columbia Business School. His leadership experiences include roles at Sunrise Movement, Heifer International, Puerto Rico’s Government, and Archer Daniels Midland in Puerto Rico. Pizarro has authored a book "Lessons Learned from an ERP" which highlights his NGO-based international accounting insights. Pizarro’s journey reflects his expertise in financial accounting, financial technology, and advocacy for sustainability.
